    Xbox One Elite Controller Carry Case


    So I received my little brothers series one Xbox One Elite controller (including the hard carry case), as he got the series 2 for Christmas, and I would like to give the carry case a good clean and was just wondering what I could do without ruining it.
    I can't find any info anywhere else. It really needs a good cleaning! Lol If anything, I will suck it up til I can buy a new one. Lol

    Mild Soap and Warm Water should do the trick. If you want you can also use a soft sponge or cloth the wash it with. Just rinse it off with warm water after wards and leave it to dry.

    rubber grip has already been removed as most of it was falling off anyways. lol just wanted to know about the carry case the controller came with. thank you. =)

    Support hasn't a description on how to take care of a controller case so everything you decide to do shall be in the understatement that you do so at your own risk.

    A mild soap and warm water on a towel shouldn't harm anything. Whatever you do, Do not use rubbing alcohol on the controller though. That will dry out the rubber.

    When it comes in i would first check that everything that should be included with the controller comes in:

    • Xbox Elite Wireless Controller
    • Carrying case
    • Set of 4 paddles
    • Set of 6 thumbsticks: standard (2), tall (2), and domed (2)
    • Set of 2 D-pads: faceted and standard
    • USB cable
    • AA batteries

    The official microsoft site for the elite controller is https://www.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-one/accessories/controllers/elite-wireless-controller and
    has some really good images for you to at least visually compare to see if it is the real deal.

    I know that on my controller it feels heavier than a regular controller and a dead give-away is that when it is paired with the Xbox your console will recognize it as an elite controller and let you customize the button mapping (including the fancy paddle
    buttons on the elite) when you open the Xbox Accessories app.
