Xbox One Elite Controller Being Unresponsive

earlier my xbox one elite controller was blinking every time i would turn it on. it wouldn't connect to the console at all. even when i would plug it into the console with the usb cable, it would just blink while plugged in and not connect.

i read online that the controller needs to be updated (and it does need to be), and to hold down the menu buttons and the home button for about 30-45 seconds. i did that, and it turned on and start working. i went to update my controller and it somehow disconnected
during the update while my controller was just sitting on my monitor stand. and i'm pretty sure you're not suppose to disconnect the controller while its updating.

now, the controller will not turn on at all. i made sure to charge it a little just in case. the home button will dimly glow when i press it down, but it will not turn on. it is completely unresponsive when plugged into the console through as usb.

i've hard reset multiple, multiple times. i've tried holding the sync buttons together, nothing. i've tried different batteries. i let my battery drain to 0% and charged it back up. nothing is working. i've tried everything i mentioned above on my friend's
console as well.

literally nothing is working. i have dug deep through the internet and have not found any solutions.

None of those solutions worked. The controller is still completely unresponsive. I have literally tried everything.

 

Bump - I took the controller apart, and found nothing wrong with it internally. I'm sure that ruined my warranty, but the controller remains to be completely unresponsive after trying everything I possibly could.
