xbox one elite controller battery cover

I had taken my elite controller over to my cousins to play some games when I came home the battery cover for it was gone I called him and he said he can't find it. Is there any way to get a new one or am I SOL on the situation I tried to find one on amazon
and ebay with nothing being there.

Xbox One Elite Controller Question

Brought the controller from amazon uk for £119 and also a charging station with rechargeable battery for £ 23

as you can use the old rechargeable batterys but the covers don't fit elite controller has a different battery cover to the normal contollers

Sending Off Xbox Elite Controller for Replacement

I have a service request number and am going to send the Xbox Elite controller for replacement. It says do not send removable parts. I just wanted to know if the back cover for the batteries is considered a removable piece that should be kept? Or do I
send the controller with battery cover?

If you misplaced removable parts of your elite controller, you can order replacements online at the Xbox Online Service Center. Check replace your accessory section in the following link:

Hi there,

The controllers come with a standard controller battery cover (same as the other Xbox controllers). You can use either a rechargeable battery pack, or regular AA batteries. No different from other Xbox One controllers.

Thanks its just i use a rechargable and designed mine with a coloured battery cover
