Xbox One Elite Controller 2 keeps ignoring input after putting it down/shaking

I understand you need help on your controller problem.

Have you already tried different ports or different chords? Just to check if that is the issue or not.

Also, if your controller is still in warranty, I would suggest taking advantage of the warranty and send it in for a service because this could potentially be a software/hardware problem with the controller.

Thank you very much, sadly my warranty ran out a few months ago but I tested the cable and that seems to be the issue.

Glad you got to figure it out. All you need to do is just to use a different cable and you should be fine.

Now I've gotten down to where I select xbox one elite controller and hit confirm after putting my code in and then nothing happens.

As if the button to confirm is broken.

under your console. Change the category to Accessories and then under select issue type select Elite Controller. Then input your PID number from the controller and click create repair order.
