XBOX ONE "ELITE" CONTROL PAD

My daughter bought me an "elite"control pad for my birthday,03 may. Today the right bumper broke. Something inside snapped and it now floats in it's bracket.It happened while playing For Honor. I didn't even use it much. Only for playing FH. When I wasn't
using it,it went in it's case that rests on the arm of my lazyboy with the lid wedged against the wall so it couldn't move.And it broke after 28 days. Pathetic.It has a 3 year warranty but now I have to wait. I wouldn't bother me so much if this wasn't such
a common problem with xbox one products.It is the last sad remainder of any microsoft product I own in both my business and my personal life. The kinect stopped working after a month(didn't bother replacing)CD drive stopped working reliably after one year(bought
a PS4)About 6 contol pads(not including the "elite")prematurely breaking and countless countless games bought and don't work properly.Some games I'm STILL waiting for fixes.It's a shame since I have great memories of playing both xbox and xbox 360 with my
daughter.The xbox one has nothing but a bitter disappointment.

. In summary- Xbox one products make terrible presents.After the initial joy has worn off, you're left with an inferior product by modern day standards.

Elite Control Pad

My daughter bought me an elite control pad for my birthday,May 3rd.It broke 20 days later.The RB button came off as I was playing.It has a 3 yr warranty bought from JB Hi Fi. Today it broke again.The RB button came off as I was playing.Today is the 10th
of June.It lasted a whole 18 days.What a joke. I will replace it tomorrow. Realize my 3 yr warranty restarts when I do this. Please send more Elite control pads to Victoria,Australia.I suppose I'll be back at this forum in another 18 - 20 days.

contact Xbox support tell them when you bought it and explain what's going on I know that elite have for the most part a year warrenty you may have to pay shipping but they will repair or send you a new one. if you escalate it.

My bad. It only lasted 21 days. Other than it breaking with light use it was a great control pad, but I prefer function over form.

my original Xbox one and x360 controllers feels good. But elite wireless controller crumbled (grips, bumpers, bottom pad)

for the xbox one it would be my elite controller love the weight and the rubberized grips, for the 360 was the controller that the d-pad spun from a d-pad to a disc I don't really play any other consoles so lol

The Xbox Series X controllers will work on Xbox One consoles, and the Xbox One controllers (including the Elite/Elite V2) will work on Xbox Series X too.

Microsoft should make it as optional purchase for Elite 2 (or bundle inside already).

They already have similar D-Pad in the Xbox Wireless Controller

I bought the more expensive/premium Elite 2, but instead I got worse D-Pads, so I'm disappointed.

They give me no options there other than buying replacement parts for the swappable components (thumbsticks, paddles, d pad). Nothing about repair of the unit itself or replacement parts for the internals.
