Xbox One Elite 1TB

Hi!

I have seen an advertisement for an XBox One Elite 1TB console and accessories.

I am not familiar with the Xbox range or models.

Is anyone able to confirm:

1. if there is actually such a model in the Xbox range?
2. If there is such a model, where does it "fit in" with regards to One S and One X - in terms of capabilities, etc?
3. how long has the One Elite has been around - for example, if the seller in the advertisement tells me that the console is a year old, could this be true?

Identifying Xbox One Elite 1TB SSHD console? How to?

Is anyone able to advise on how to positively identify a Microsoft Xbox One Elite console? This is the console that has an internal 1TB SSHD and included the Elite controller with it.

I have one here that is supposedly such, but I'm curious how to confirm that it's not just a standard 1TB Xbox One with a seperate Elite controller?

 

There was an elite model for the Xbox 360. It did not have 1Tb of storage however. There has been no Xbox One with that designation.

 

I believe there was an xbox one elite console 1TB but that was before the one s came out, so if you are thinking of getting any console I suggest getting the one s or above

It was between the original 500gb xbox one and the one s.

There was a Xbox One Elite. It came out circa 2015.

There were three differences to the original Xbox One.

A 1TB hard drive. The original Xbox One was only 512GB

The hard drive is an SSHD these are hybrid drives. Basically a standard 2.5" hard disk with SSD technology included. Not to be confused with a fully fledged SSD hard drive.

It came with the first version of the Xbox One Elite controller.

It won't be a year old, unless it was sitting in a store or a warehouse for a while before they bought it.

Other than the slightly faster hard disk, and the controller, it's not very 'Elite' now. It only has a standard Blu-ray drive, not the UHD capable of the One S and One X, and it doesn't support UHD resolutions nor HDR.
