    Xbox one Eject button


    Has anybody had a problem with the original Xbox ones thinking the eject button is the power button? Just started doing it and can no longer eject my disk.

    Did you try powering totally off? (Pull the power cable)

    I received my xbox one in the mail hooked it up and boom I put cod ghosts in no crackling noise but I can't get it out the eject button doesn't work and the power button doesn't turn it on or off this can be worked around by by saying xbox on on and off
    but the disc tray can't please help

    I've been having the same problem; unresponsive eject and power buttons but console working perfectly otherwise. Took Sir Sh0rty's advice and pulled the power for 1min, now it works perfectly. Cheers bud!

    To be honest, while i'd be the first to complain about it lacking this feature it is a case of you having to get up to then remove the disc. So all automation is lost unless you can then shout "Wife! remove that disc and put Dead Rising in!" without knowing
    the disc will come flying at your head, then its not really a massive issue.

    Unplug the xbox and look on the left side, you will see a yelllow tab in the air vent, straighten a paper clip and push it in the hole, it will manually slide the disc out a little way. Mine does the same, microsoft take the *** releasing all these faulty
    machines.
