Xbox one easier messaging, instead of slow controller selecting.

I was wondering about two things. First, Will there be a chat-pad released for the One?

Second and more importantly, I was also curious to know if you have thought about allowing Xbox One owners the capability to use wireless keyboards to type messages to friends instead of the slow controller selection method? We could also use that same
keyboard to navigate Internet Explorer, Search functions in apps like Netflix when looking for a movie title. I think there would be many people interested in that option. I know I would like to type my messages faster so that I can get back to my game quicker.
Party chat is good but I don't always communicate with everyone through that. If I am in-game with a few friends I still type messages to others not in that game. I think it would be useful to have keyboard capability by usb.

If possible I would like to get a response on this subject please.

Xbox One Messaging is Just Bad...

The messaging system on the XBOX One is bad and slow. All this power and we get a UI that's slow and should be almost instant.

Selecting controller

I was playing a 4 player game of Monopoly Plus last night and menu control was assigned to my wife (who is a bit tech handicapped.) Without switching controllers, how can I switch control of the menus to myself? I was the only account signed in at the
time the game was first loaded, Kinect recognized my friend a bit later on, and my wife and his girlfriend were both designated guests but my wife was given control for some reason. My other issue is similar, it's my Xbox, I'm the primary user and account
but after my friend signed in (via face recognition) both guests were put under him. Finally, even when I'm logged in and holding the only controller active, if Kinect recognizes him, it switched the dashboard to his account? I apologize if this in convoluted
and or misspelled, I'm writing it on a phone and am running on next to no sleep. Thanks to whomever manages to decipher this and get back to me with an answer.

download that application on most Windows, android and IOS devices in the store.

From the below it appears that the default is text and if you want to send voice you have to select the microphone.

Send messages to friends

To send messages to one of your friends through Xbox One:

Sign in to Xbox Live.

On your Xbox One Wireless Controller, press the Xbox button.

Go to the Friends hub and select Friends online.

Highlight the friend's gamertag, and then press the A button on your controller.

Select Send and then select Message to send a text message, or select the microphone icon to send a voice message.

Enter or record your message.

When finished, select Send.

I don't have a problem with being able to select which area I use the voice commands, the issue is having to have the controller in the same area.

The number of times people send party invites, and I have to ignore them, because the party system is clunky and slow and I can't snap and play is daft, I have reverted to using smart glass to send a message, but thats not ideal either becuase the party
invite isn't a message or something I can reply to, I have to find the player and send a message, all should be easier.

Don't send her an Xbox LIVE message, I think it's easier for her if you send a private forum message. Click the little green 'mail' icon under either one of her posts, or one of mine for example, and then remove my name from the recipient list, and put in
Miss Ermine instead.
