    Xbox One (early model) updated last night, turned off to complete update, wont turn on since.


    As the title says, I turned on my Xbox One last night and it said it needed an update (Odd cause mine usually updates automatically), as the update finished downloading it went to reset in order to complete the update. It has not turned on since! I have
    tried doing the power supply reset (power supply box still has yellow LED Light) and starting it up in troubleshooter mode, and neither work. When i try to turn it on it sometimes gives me a weak start up sound that is off pitch and half as long and loud.
    At this point i really don't want to buy a new Xbox one and wasn't planning on getting the new one right out of the gate. Xbox support has been very unhelpful so far, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Boom! Someone else with same problems. A month ago I too updated my console and instantly regretted it because the next day my console started freezing and refusing to shut off or power on. I have an old model with the 1tb memory. I swear all the old models
    were targeted by this new store update because they are too weak for the next gen xbox live upgades. Forcing us to buy a new xbox just to push sales for this quarter. My xbox was just fine before that update, now I have to factory reset and download games
    everyday! I’m so pissed at microsoft right now for sabotaging me during this time.

    Opposite for me. Same model and after the last update it will not turn on. It does turn off though... Sigh.

    The xbox one is the one that completely turns off. The xbox one x wont make it past the screen that allows you to do an offline update. So it's broke.

    Controller Home Button Not Working

    I started having the same issue the other day. Controller was fine early in the day and then home button would not work later that night. It will turn my Xbox and controller on. It wont bring up the dashboard or the option to turn off controller or console.
    I have charged the battery pack, tried to use AA batteries and tried to update all to no avail.

    My xbox one got updated last night. When the update was finish the console turned off and would not turn on again. The update bricked my xbox 1. Is anyone else having the same issue. I can't get through to Microsoft to complain.

    I try contacting Customer support to no Avail.
