Xbox ONE E-mail Change?

So I want to change my email addresss that I use for my xbox profile. On the 360 there is an account tile that you use in settings but there is nothing on the obox one (as far as I can tell) I would have thought it was something you could at least do on
my account settings on xbox.com but you can't! plus you can't even change your gamer tag on the website! now luckily I still have my xbox 360 so failing the ability to do it any other way I will have to do it through that, but for people who just have an xbox
one trying to change anything to do with your account seems to be impossible.I'm sure that this may well be on the cards with a lot of other things that will be sorted but it does seem a bit of an oversight that these options are not there on the new console.

Also I just wanna say that there should be a seperate help and support for the xbox one as everything, even my main profile on xbox.com is my 360 profile. Is this going to change any time soon? as even though they are seperate machines the website surely
should have been changed to encompass your entire microsoft profile or even at the very least have an option to be able to switch between the two on my profile. At the moment this attempt at unifying everything is a failure all because of small things like
not havin gthe same options for my account on all formats. Hopefully this is on the list of things to do? but I am a little dissapointed in microsoft for not having this all in place for the new console release. Come on dudes, if bloody Apple can do it I'm
sure you are quite capable!

Can I add Gears 3 to my download list without an Xbox 360?

Check your e-mail address with xbox live and check your e-mail address you're making your purchase with on xbox.com

Are they the same? I "purchased" gears of war 3 easily.

Can you sign in Xbox live with a different E-mail account?

So, I have already an Xbox Live user and my E-mail account I used to sign in Xbox Live is about to close. Can I use a different E-mail account to sign in Live with the same user?

It's important, because I have all my achievements/ plus friends in this user and I cannot try it out, because I have not created another E-mail account, yet.

Thanks for your reply, I am aware of all the above options (and found the xbox one forum a little after I wrote my post) however what I wanted to do was change the email associated with my gamertag/live profile to a new one I have already set up. I intend
to change my gamertag and have decided to use a new email to reflect the tag and to use solely for all my gaming purposes like U-play, origin and ign etc... however this cannot be done on the xbox one. originally you couldn't do it on the 360 either but they
changed that and put an option in the accounts setting. I probably should have explained that a little better for which I appologise. I do however still stand by what I said about the general unification of everything especially the website which doesn't even
show what xbox games I have played with the last game I apparently played was the new solitaire for windows phone (thank you microsoft btw!!) I know this will most likely change but they have got some work to do to bring all the devices together and it's just
a shame that although I love the xbox one and microsoft for their vision, I feel that some things especially in the accounts department needs a bit of refinement and re-structuring to simplify and bring an ease of use to its user.

It is not possible to merge two Xbox accounts into one single account, If the E-mail address you are using is about to be deleted I would suggest that you create an account with one of the free E-mail providers and change the E-mail address on the account
to that.

I changed my e-mail while on my Xbox to a other e-mail I had and it worked fine.

No big deal.

All I did was type in my old e-mail and password then change to a new one and type all in.

Took me less then 3 min.

I wanted to completely change the e-mail tied to my GFWL account to another one and forget the current one/delete it but I guess that's not possible. Your system is a complete mess, you need to have BACKUP e-mail to have a e-mail, when you create a outlook/hotmail
account you need to have another e-mail (WHAT'S THE POINT OF CREATING A HOTMAIL ONE THEN?) so the logic goes like that:

Want to create e-mail A -> to create e-mail A you need to have e-mail B -> to create e-mail B you need to have e-mail C -> to create e-mail C you need to have e-mail D -> etc

Also you're able to do this:

E-mail Y backup is: E-mail X

E-mail X backup is: E-mail Y

What? what happens then? a loop of confirmations?

I tried to change the GFWL main alias to a different one but it kept giving me this "e-mail already exist" message or something. At the end of the day the system is so confuse that you get lost in the middle of so many different e-mails, aliases and microsoft/xbox
accounts, this system is complete garbage.

I got the mail for the 2nd issue I was having changed (presumably, time will tell), but not the first one..

When I chose to change E-mail (or update if you will), I picked the 2nd option to "use another E-mail". When I enter in my preferred E-mail adress it says the "E-mail is not avaiable". I didn't chose to create a new E-mail, just "Use another E-mail"...

You can change the e-mail (the answer is YES!!!)

You go in your account go to your register and change the e-mail (warning!!! if you want to change the e-mail that e-mail don´t have be atached whif no account in XBL, because you can´t use the same e-mail for 2 accounts).

If you don´t have that problem is just change and wait the e-mail of confirmation

And go to WLA management and use the remove account tool for the Unwanted account

If you have already use the e-mail you want in the "unwanted account" you have to do a little marathon...first go to account you want to delete and change there the e-mail (put a non used e-mail, just to speed up the process you can open a new e-mail in
some free e-mail service...after changed now you can change the e-mail in your "main" account and put the e-mail you wish and after changes the e-mail of both accounts you can dlete the Unwanted account by WLA if you cant knok the adress go to xbox. com account
management and in the low page option you have account management there you can manage your account.
