    my Xbox one won't upload my clips to Xbox and says I need space. When I have loads of G.B free. I tried it on my other account and it works so it's clearly has to do with my account. How do you fix this? It also won't let me upload in the upload studio app
    on the Xbox one. Also to be clear, I am very well connected to Xbox live and my internet is fine. My Xbox one DVR just refuses to upload to Xbox live

    Xbox one DVR

    Hey there JokeR ScopeZ,

    While you may have enough local storage, the issue may be with the amount of clips you have stored on Xbox Live. If you check your manage captures section and remove some older clips are you able to upload new ones? Make sure you have selected the "On Xbox
    Live" section from the drop down menu so that you'll be looking at what's online versus what's locally stored.

    Dish Network Parental Passcode

    If the DVR software is prompting you to input a passcode, this can only be done with the DVR remote, as the DVR is the actual device asking you for a parental passcode (not the Xbox).

    The Xbox One only simply shows what's being sent to the HDMI-input -- the Xbox has no actual control over the connected HDMI device.

    There is no way to use the DVR user interface with the Xbox One controller, if that's what you're asking. Just stick with the DVR remote!

    July 2014 update broke Live TV for Cisco 8742HDC

    I had the issue happen again. This time, I think I may have found a "workaround" to get it working again, without cold booting either the DVR or the XBox One.

    To reiterate: the issue was that the signal [video and audio] from the DVR was blinking in and out.

    The Workaround:

    I performed the following sequence of actions, with power settings set to Toggle DVR on/off (since that's all my DVR supports):

    - Start with DVR on and XBox One on, exhibiting the problem

    - Turn XBox One off normally (which toggles the DVR off)

    - Turn the DVR on (even though you cannot see/hear the content)

    - Turn XBox One on (which toggles the DVR off)

    - Turn DVR on

    Once things handshake over HDMI, the problem is gone! (until it comes back, possibly by turning the XBox off normally, in which case I have to redo this workaround)

    Any progress in getting this problem fixed?

    If you use your Dish Hopper through the Xbox One, then the Xbox One would need to be one whenever you watch TV or DVR. If you want to use your DVR functionality, for now, you still would use your DVR remote to control this feature. The nice thing is you
    could get notifications while watching your TV or DVR.
