    Xbox One DVR uploads cause lag in multiplayer games


    I've been dealing with lag on Xbox One for some time now. I've been slowly digging in and diagnosing the issue and it seems I've isolated a large part of my issue. When I'm playing a game like Destiny, my connection bar is solid green, but as soon as I
    do an "Xbox Record That", my connection strength goes to red for a significant period of time then returns back to green.

    I have now associated this with the DVR Upload functionality. My connection is red because the Xbox is consuming all of my upload bandwidth trying to upload the video to the Xbox cloud.

    This needs to be fixed!!! What can be done about this? Can we turn off automatic uploads while keeping DVR functionality intact?

    when i record a clip on my windows to game dvr on my pc and try to upload it to xbox live so i can edit in upload studio on my xbox one it says sorry we cant recognize this game how do i fix that cause on all my videos under name it says xbox and i cant

    Game DVR lags game streaming

    On both The xbox app and Xbox beta, game DVR causing streaming to lag heavily. This has only started since the last update and the lag goes away when I turn game DVR off. My computer has no problems during streaming with ram or cpu usage. What are alternative
    apps I can use for recording that will allow me to upload to xbox live.

    Upload studio help

    Go to Skydrive and sign in with the gamer tag's email/password.

    Then click on Pictures and then Xbox Game DVR to find the videos.

    For some reason the Xbox One uploads upload studio videos under your "Pictures" and then "Xbox Game DVR" folder. It would make MUCH more sense to have it under videos, but that is where the uploads are stored.

    I don't notice this while playing online. Sure the draw distance isn't is good as a high end PC but I cant say I am having your issue. I am wondering if you are seeing server lag? The DICE servers are a mess at the moment.

    Instead of using your phone you could try using the game DVR, uploading to skydrive then sharing on youtube :D

    The last option I would go with is uninstall and reinstall the game. However I wouldn't try this until I know it isn't server lag. What are your connection speed and test result under Multiplayer test on the Xbox One?
