Hey there, x WaLRuS 11! Thanks for posting this up for me. I want to make sure you have Game DVR enabled. On your console, please go into Settings > Preferences and enable the Game DVR broadcasting option in the center there. That should
fix you up. If it doesn't, please send us some feedback through the Send Feedback option in the Game DVR app.

I'm having a problem where I say Xbox record that, the system acknowledges what I said in the upper right, but the DVR doesn't actually record the clip. This is happening for Watch Dogs.

My OS version is 6.2.11064.0 (xb_rel_1406.140601-2110) fre

 

I wanted to put my input on this as well. When the Console first came out. Game DVR was a breeze. worked every time from 30secs to 5mins. I only really play BF4. But now over the last few weeks it's got worse.

I get messages like its been deleted, after it told me it reordered. and I get constant 1sec clips of my awesome action "GREAT!!" I really hope this is fixed as this feature is just brilliant.

Come on MS get that patch out. also make the interface a little less laggy, its not as smooth and fast as my 360.

 

Has anyone else tried what @A Dark Scream said? has it worked for you turning off the kinect features in BF4? I'll try mine this weekend and let you all know if that works.

 

i have been an "Xbox fanboy" if you will since the first...well xbox 1 , and Im VERRRRRRRRRRRRY Dissapointed with this new system...everything on it has a problem somewhere in it...thought i was purchasing a new console...not signing up for the microsft

I had and continue to have the exact same problem. It only occurs with Battlefield and it's the only disc game I have. I never have the same problem with Fifa, Dead Rising or Assassins Creed IV. Even the Titanfal Beta worked better the BF4 does. From this
I can only surmise that the problem is BF4 (most likely considering their Launch bugs) or it's the fact that it's a disc based game. It has been a little bit more reliable in the past few weeks so maybe it'll improve in the future.

 

I have no idea why you guys are having problems. All you do is snap Game DVR next to the game you're playing and click "start new recording". Though I do wish the Xbox auto-recorded in the background while you are playing, like what the PS4 does.

 

Just got bit with this in Titanfall, disc edition. Recorded seven clips last night, Notifications shows an entry for every one of them. I powered down X1 using controller button, power it up today, notifications are still there, but none of the videos will
play because "deleted or never uploaded."

Is it possible the clips are still there and the OS is just somehow missing them? Or did the X1 just really screw up and not record them in the first place?

 

First it works good with fifa 14 then i started playing cod ghosts... when i say xbox record that the pop up on the right comes up but not in the middle what says game clips saved... sometime it will recore nothing and sometimes it takes 1 to 3 maby 4 min
to get the pop up in the middle thats says game clip saved its anyoing beqause with fifa i say xbox record that the pop up in the middle comes up right away.... and with cod its not comes up right away i tried everything reset my router turn off the xbox delete
the game cod en download it again etc but nothing works en another thing my nat says open but when i start playing cod it says moderate.... whats up with that ? Hope to hear soon from xbox or someone

 

I too am all of a sudden getting this error. Power cycling does nothing. Please reply if anyone has a solution. thanks

 

I tried recording 5 different videos tonight all on Battlefield, and I got the notification on the top right, but not the confirmation notification that it has been recorded... I even waited until the end of my games till I go to Upload and nada. Nothing
was recorded at all. I would like my $500 system more if It did what it is supposed to. Once again I find myself In the support forums. jesus

 

I have this problem all the time!!

The fix for powering down, unplugging does work, sure..

Then, maybe a few hours later, stops recording and won't work until I power down... how annoying..

My observation: Game DVR will work after powering down. Stops working after being idle or watch TV for a few hours in between gaming...

 

I'm having this issue as well. doesn't seem to be game specific though. had it on titan fall, forza 5 and battlefield

 

Had this problem yesterday with, Titanfall download version. Recorded 4 clips and when, I went to view them, I got a error message saying that, they'd been deleted or not published!
