Xbox one DVR error (0x80004005)

Before the may update i would get errors more frequently when trying to record gameplay mostly on cod ghosts. I use the command "xbox record that" and it used to give me an error that was ("Try a different game clip", "That one was deleted or never
published. (0x80040212)". The may update fixed that from happening. Now it will record more frequently, but now the issue is when it does not work when you say "Xbox record that" nothing will pop up at all. And when that happens i go into game dvr
app and try record from there and get an instant error (0x80004005). and when this happens to me on cod ghosts i noticed going to the main menu and then going back into multiplayer it will fix it for quite a while. Idk what causes this to not work sometimes
on this game. i've been obsessed with this not working since i got my xbox because this feature would really help. hell, i even was on the phone with xbox customer support a week ago when i was getting the 0x80040212 error and he said it might be hardware
so i exchanged it at best buy for a new one and obviously i found out the hard way that this is not a hardware issue. the odd thing is i asked my friends that use this feature often and they say they have never encountered an error ever.

Game DVR not recording

Game DVR not recording. I get error code 0x80004005. I have hard rest. Unplugged for 5 minutes etc. It has worked fine until a week ago.

 

Xbox One is becoming very tedious!

the dvr feature has been working more frequently since the may update and i only notice it not working sometimes on cod ghosts, but it's still unreliable and when you say xbox record that sometimes nothing will pop up at all. and then if you try to snap
dvr and record you get an instant error: 0x80004005.

 

Okay so you exchanged your Xbox One in for another console and you are still having the same issues. When you record the game, the problem maybe that it's now allowing you to record it due to copyrights. Some games especially in recent updates companies
don't want people recording game clips and publishing them. I suggest trying it on a different game for now.

 

i don't think the problem here is copyright issues since sometimes it works and sometimes not is what the the problem basically is. the times it does not work i do not believe i'm doing anything different than the times it does indeed work.
