    Hi guys

    im after some help please. When I insert disc into drive it tried to load then i get error message asking if I own the game etc. The only way I can get it to play is if I til the Xbox one up and insert disc and gravity does its thing. I've read on forums
    that's it's a common fault on day one releases? If so is it an easy and cheap fix??

    designed to be positioned horizontally, never vertically    .

    Standing your console up vertically could introduce some wear/damage that could cause read issues in the long-term, especially if it's been vertical for most of its lifetime while reading disc games.

    How are you positioning your console to get it to read the discs?

    Are you running it off of the hard drive on the Xbox One or an external one? If you are playing off of the internal drive on the Xbox One then you may want to get an external for it because that is a known issue as far as the Xbox One hard drive and this
    game.

    You should be able to transfer games via a compatible USB drive.

    Old Xbox One > USB drive. USB drive > New Xbox One

    Yes, use a PC to format the drive. No, there is no way to insert an internal drive into an Xbox One, but you could purchase a hard drive enclosure with a USB 3.0 connection, and install the hard drive in that, then connect it to the Xbox One with the USB
    cable.

    USB drive, external drive didn't work with Xbox one.

    You can already use USB Flash drives and hard drives on Xbox One to view videos, music and pictures. To view these files you first need to download the Media Player Preview App from the Xbox One Marketplace. Connect your device and load the app.

    To use an external hard drive for Xbox One storage, the device itself must be at least 256GB and USB 3.0. Which means the external storage for Xbox One data must be a hard drive, USB Flash drives are not supported for Xbox One storage.
