    Xbox one...Drive Defective out the Box


    Why is so many people having problems with a new xbox one right out the box???? Please don't respond with your power down and reset stuff. It doesnt work if the disc drive is junk. What is Micrsoft gonna do about it? The QC on this product is a joke.
    Everybody better get a extended warranty. I promise your drive will fail after the year warranty. Beware of this product craftmanship. The standards must be very low.

    Advance replacement orders/when you guys receive your replacement and let people know what to except.

    I went through the advance replacement deal for my xbox one that had the disk drive issues. I received the unit today but there is no return label. I chatted with a rep and was told to just put the defective unit back into the box and drop off at FedEx.
    I wanted to confirm if this is true. How did you guys ship back the defective console?

    After all that I've gone through (2 defective DVD Drives on the Original Xbox and 2 defective DVD Drives / 4 RRODs on the Xbox 360), I would be super ultra angry if my Xbox One broke.

    Day one edition controller broken

    I can't get mine to sync at all. They should really have spare Day One Edition controllers for those who got defective ones out of the box.

    Elite Controller Series 2 comes with built-in Stick Drift (worse than Series 1)

    Exchange the controller for a new one. If it's that bad out of the box it's just a factory defect which is to be expected not only in a first run of most products but more so in products that are mass produced...it happens with everything. I've had many
    different types of electronics that were bad out of the box but when I returned for a new one it was good.
