As someone who have owned pretty much all consoles on or near release, I know you have to wait a while for the full potential of a new console. I knew what I was buying before I splashed the cash, maybe others don't look into what they are buying?

Either way, console wars is the most pointless thing ever, as a gamer I don't care what platforms I play games on and eventually I will own them all anyway.

The thing that killed the Dreamcast was that it had absolutely zero copy protection. You could literally just download a game, burn it to CD and play it on your console.

Also graphics aren't everything. Yes they are important but if the game as a whole is poor then all the good looks in the world won't save it, yet a poor looking game can easily be saved by great gameplay (just look at Alpha Protocol.)

 

Your opinion is your own, but you have no right to try and pass it off as others. Also, comparing Xbox One to a Dreamcast is just dumb and gives you no credibility. When will the people on these forums have enlightened things to say?

Forza5=1080p 60fps, Don't worry dude, it will all work out or it won't. I purchased my Xbox One because I wanted more than a gaming console. I knew it wouldn't play 360 games before I purchased it. I freaking love the voice control, it's awesome while
watching movies. That just alone is awesome.

I like the exclusives for the Xbox One more than there competitor so that is another reason I went with the One. But that's just me, everyone is different right?

Hey one year from now and things don't improve we all have a reason to freak out! But I'm happy with the Xbox One now so any improvements I'm super psyched. I knew what I was getting into.

How the hell can the Op compare this to another console with big hype that failed? Xbox One has failed? Selling nearly 4 million consoles in 3 months which is the fastest selling Xbox console ever is not a failure. Analysts have predicted that the Xbox and
PS4 are going to hit 100 million units sold. What a complete idiot this guy is. BTW Titanfall will move Xbox ones as well 80% of youtubers love it there opinion alone of it will sell consoles and the reviews its getting from only a beta by gaming sites are
awesome. Op your brain is the only thing that fails. Both consoles are going to do excellent for the next decade. Why people have to start stupid wars over this I dunno.

 

The Dreamcast was actually ahead of its time and the biggest problem was that it was rushed in the middle of a console life cycle out of desperation by Sega. M$ is not desperate having over 50 million Gold subscribers and over 3.9 million in Xb1 sold already.


Don't forget the midnight racing game that had the day/night cycles that went off of your system clock and had different DJ's that used your own music in between songs. I still have my VMU, it was the best for picking a play during a two player NFL 2K game...damn
I miss the NFL 2K series...oh wait did, I just ramble over into another blog post topic....opps, I did it again...damn Britney Spears was hot back then....

 

The Dreamcast was great. Great games, and really, launched online gaming for consoles. I wish Microsoft would partner with Sega and give them the resources to create a new system. Sega/Hardware with MS/Software.

[/quote]If people are going to make ridiculous statements such as this one than people will defend it, and to be honest, the people who are ''defending'' this console are talking more sense than the people who are just being overly dramatic.

The ones who are 'defending'' this consoles knows it's not perfect and have said so many times, but others seem to have tantrums and unable to speak reasonable and sensibly.

 

I know chaps apologies for my over dramatic post , but for the record no console is or ever will be perfect and that is a fact no matter what sits under the tv

 

I think it's funny that when I checked the OP's profile, it said: "Online Playing Xbox One".

 

The Xbox One is a fine gaming machine, resolution be damned. A console is only as perfect as it's owner believes. Personally, I think the GameCube, N64, and Xbox 360 are perfect consoles because I had a wonderful time, and that's what it's all about end
of the day.

 

OMG ImDrunky! You hit the nail on the head, I already own both so its not a big deal. I honestly cannot tell a difference between the two either way and I have them both so I can play exclusives on both systems.
