Xbox One downloading very slow. 62 - 88 Mbps.

Thank you for your swift answer! We did download the update for Skyrim Anniversary a few days before AC Valhalla and that took almost 24 hrs (31 Gbs). So i think the problem may be somewhere else.

I tested our home internet speed on the PC now and it was 62 Mbps

Would you possibly be able to think of another reason for the slow download? We have downloaded 88% and it has taken 48 hrs now.

I’ve been noticing very slow download speeds on my Xbox Series S. I have a fibre network connection, and ran a speedtest showing around 950 MBps download and 950 MBps upload. When i download a game or app on Xbox, that number drops to around 50-100 MBps. It sometimes gets to 350-400, but it’s rare. Are the microsoft servers just slow?

Where did you perform the througput test? On your Xbox?

I removed the xbox one from the DMZ and setup the port forwarding and it does not seem to have helped.

9.33 Mbps down, 8.85 Mbps up, 15% packet loss upload, 63 ms latency 2nd test 18.6 Mbps/8.19 Mbps up, 9% packet loss, 62 ms latency

Download speed: 69.40 mbps

Upload speed: 15.58 mbps

Latency: 13ms

Wireless strength 88% however yesterday when I checked it was 48%

With an Xbox 360 doubt you will ever get the 300 Mbps max download. Even on the Xbox one X I have only got around 200 Mbps. You can try the

slow performance solution to see if this helps any.
