Xbox one downloading issues

Hello, so i am having some issues when it comes to downloading and updating games.

Every time i try to download or update any games it takes very long time, no matter what size.

So the problem is that when i am downloading a game it starts downloading at about anything from 1-60 mbps for about one second, then it stops downloading. It doesn't pause or anything it is just downloading at 0mbps. Then after a while it starts downloading
at any speed for about 3-4 seconds, then it stops again for a while and so on. This problem has been going on for a long time, but i didn't think much of it before i compared it with my friends xbox. An example: Just yesterday i was trying to update fortnite
on my xbox, after waiting for about 3 hours, it only had downloaded about 10% (around 1 gig). And i've tested my internet speed on the xbox and it comes out around 102 mbps uploading speed and 70 mbps downloading speed, so my intrernet is not the problem.

I have factory restarted my xbox, i have restarted the router and everything, but nothing seems to help.

Having issues with the XBOX One Downloading Constantly (5MB or Better) even with it powered off. is there any reason it would be Downloading Constantly?

When running into issues with slow downloads we recommend following all of the steps on the

slow downloads guide.

If all of those steps fail can you send us your current NAT type, detailed console network stats(Settings>Network>Network Settings>Detailed Network Statistics), and a photo of the console's physical
location?

I'm having the same problem and so are a lot of other people. Unfortunately there are no fixes that I know of. It's just one of those wait and see what the next system update brings situations.

 

Hello, the steps on the guide did not help my issue.

So, my xbox is located behind my sceen and there wouldn't be any difficulties about the placement, because everything can run fine. And it has been in loads of different places before and has had the exact same issues.

When it comes to my current NAT type it says "Moderate"

And my detailed console network status is:

Downloadspeed: 69 Mbps

Uploadspeed: 95 Mbps

packet loss: 0%

MTU: 1500

latency: 29 ms

A moderate NAT would definitely, cause issues with downloads and updates.

Let's go through every step on
the NAT guide to try and get that back to Open.

Once the NAT is open let's have you test a quick download of some content you own and let us know how that goes!

 

Hi there, my NAT is currently open and I'm having the same problem. I have called the Microsoft service line and they have said "there's an issue with live in Australia and in particular certain internet service providers, (Optus Australia) witch maybe causing
this issue and we are currently working with the development team and technicians to fix this problem" they did not give me a time from, witch this might be fixed only that they had received multiple complaints about the situation. hope this helps anyone that

Hey, thanks for the reply. But unfortunally it still doesn't work. It did help a little bit, but it still continues to stop completly with the download. And yes my NAT-Type is now on "Open"

 

To be sure, do you see the same issues wired and wireless?

If you test the console on a friend's network do you see the same issues?

If the answer is yes to both of those questions let's have you
factory reset your console and select keep my games and apps on step 7.

I am having the same problems when i use wired or wiredless internet. And the same issue happens if i'm on my friends internet and everything.

I've already factory restarted my entire xbox about one week ago and it doesn't help either.

The NAT-Type is also "open", but still the same issues.

 

In this case, we would recommend looking into a repair for the console as it sounds like the network card may be the issue.
