Xbox One Download Speed

Just got the Halo 5 Xbox and I am lagging in every game to the point it is unplayable. I look under detailed network statistics and it is usually stuck between 1mbs to 15mbs (usually closer to 1). When I do a speed test on my laptop in the same room I get
60+mbs download. I have reset the xbox and the router/modem multiple times to no eval. I have even tried using my laptop to bridge the connection and the internet stays the same for my xbox. I am on the new NXE update and that seems to be when everything
went downhill.

Can anyone please help? I can't even play online anymore.

Download speed doesn't match speed test result

I ran a speed test on my xbox one and got a download speed of 168 Mb/s (which is close to my subscription). I am trying to download Gears 4 and the actual download speed is hovering between 50 and 60 Mb/s. I have restarted the console, and tried canceling and re-starting the download, but that has not improved the actual download speed. If I should be getting 168 Mb/s, why is the actual download stuck at 50-60?

In the meantime, if you are connected wireless please try an ethernet connection directly to the modem to improve your speeds.

The minimum internet speed required for playing with Xbox 360 is at least 1mbps download speed and 200 kbps upload speed for Xbox Live. So that should be enough

there are many variables that will determine the max download speed, in quite a few cases the download speed is determined by the ISP and the subscription you have with them, that usually has a maximum download speed, so it might be best to try and find
out what that is for your situation. The network devices in your network could also be a limitation on the maximum download speed you can reach.

Games these days are also quite large (on any current generation console) so that will take time.
