    I have a question about xbox one download.

    Does the xbox one download games using P2P(BT)?

    Because the manager of my network asked me if i use the p2p to download things.

    Which game on Xbox One is using Microsoft/Azure server now?

    I played several games. Killer Instinct which took me about half an hour to search someone.

    Peggle 2, Battlfield 4 using EA server which kind of neat despite the launch issue.

    2k14 using 2k server which lag as hell.

    COD:Ghost -> p2p

    I've been told Dead Rising 3 is p2p as well.

    Some games just powered by Smart Match feature but still game is based on other severs or p2p.

    I pre-order Forza 5 and want to know if it uses Azure server or not.

    What I am asking is whether the Xbox uses a client based server or P2P I think. P2P must mean that I can play games that are years old and still play multiplayer correct?

    Xbox games download directly from Microsoft's severs. They are not peer 2 peer based like Bit Torrent.

    But the downloads have option to continue to lose internet connection. Or is this normal in the protocol used for the downloads?

    I know this is an old post but I don't think this is right. I just noticed one of my XBOX One consoles is downloading a game at 100 Megabytes per second, which is about 5 times as fast as my internet connection. I checked the network activity on my router
    and sure enough it is copying the game from another XBOX One on my network.

    lag problem that i can't fix! please help!

    i had terrible lag with O2, basically during peeks hrs they where choking me as xbox gaming is p2p and they did not discriminate p2p gaming with p2p downloading but just throttled it all. When i moved to BT the worst of my online probs disappeared. Basically
    what i'm saying is it could be your provider throttling you.
