Xbox One Download and Upload speed really slow and totally below internet speeds

Been trying to download games and updates over the last couple of days and it’s just taking ages to download anything. My download speeds have ranged anywhere between 300 Kbps to 2.5 Mbps. Carried out a detailed network statistics test on the console and
got 1.53 Mbps for download speed and 0.36 for upload speed. Carried out a speed test for the wifi in the same room as the xbox where there is a wireless wifi booster as was getting 60 Mbps download and 20mbps upload. The xbox is right next to the booster so
why are the speeds so low? It is taking an entire day just to download a 3GB update. Never had this issue before, console download speeds are usually reflective of the wifi

Please, on a computer, run http://speedtest.net and advise the ping speed as well as the upload speed in Mbps and the download speed; but, I can say that a download speed of
0.25 Mbps is too slow for reliable Xbox connection. What does your Internet Service Provider promise you for speed up and speed down?

Tried unplugging it for a while and plugged it back in with no luck. checked speeds and got .86 for download and .43 for upload speeds so I think internet is just too slow. Hopefully switching to high speed soon

Can you provide your download and upload speed from your ISP? I do not understand ".026."

DSL Internet isn't the best so you shouldn't have high expectations. Though there is a new update currently in Preview that will speed up/prioritize download speeds.

From the OP "Yes, I have a really slow internet connection but where does Microsoft tell you that you need a high speed internet connection" it is right on the side of the box that the system came in. Broadband internet required. 1.5Mbs download and 768kbs
upload required for the best experience. 256kbs DSL is not the solution and the internet service and speed you have is not MS fault.
