Xbox One - Doesnt Turn On post Service Change Issue 1/30

Hi All,

Hoping someone can help. My Xbox one was working fine all day except when this issue with the black screen happend. My console was ON during this whole deal and now it wont turn on at all. Unplugged everything to
see if it was the power brick, but that light turns on to amber when it isnt connected to my xbox, however right when i plug it into the xbox, the amber light goes away. Almost like there is an OS/power failure right when it tries to communicate with the
Xbox. What are our options here? Mine is out of warranty but this appears to be caused by the service update corrupting something on my hardware/software.

I am also having the same problem with my xbox one. I played all day Monday being that it was my off day with no problems. On Tuesday after work I hopped on for some gaming but was soon met with limited accessibility to my account and couldn't even log
in. I turned my xbox off then back on to be greeted with the green loading screen which I let go for about 15 minutes before again turning off the xbox. I turned on the xbox for a third time only to have my xbox turn off within 10 seconds. I just purchased
my xbox Sunday just to have it crash Tuesday night which is extremely frustrating. I have switched outlets and have tried to reset my xbox to no avail. There is no way xbox can not claim responsibility for this mass problem but it seems as if they are indeed
doing so.

hi there, unable to do this as my xbox is turn off and doesn't turn on at all. I have tried unplugging it and plugging it back in but that doesn't work either.

Thank you for posting on the Xbox forums. There was a
service alert that was affecting several consoles. Is your console enrolled in the

Xbox Insider program? The service alert has been lifted. Is the console plugged directly into the wall? We recommend

power cycling the console by holding down the power button on the console for ten seconds. Be sure to let us know the results!

yesterday i tried to play on forza horizon 4 but when i clicked on it it crashed and said that it needs an update but it couldn't find an update so i tried resetting my xbox (turning it off then on) but when it turned on there was a black screen but i could
here noises and occasionally when i pressed the home button on my controller the tab came up on the left of my screen so i reset it again, same thing happened and after i had done it a third time my xbox wouldn't turn on.

please help because i am really annoyed now because it has been more than 24 hours since i reset it and it still wont turn on.
