Xbox One doesn't recognizes the disc format

I want to use an 1TB HDD as a media storage device, but the console gives an 0x80bd003b error, saying that the disc isn't set to NTFS format. I've tried to fully format the disc multiple times, I'm using the USB 3.0 cable and I've used all of the USB ports on the console.

You'll need to format the hard drive to NTFS using a Windows PC for it to be recognized from the Xbox. There won't be a way to do that from the Xbox itself or from an Apple Computer.

You will have to format the drive on the Xbox One in order for it to be used as a games disc. Otherwise it will only be recognized as a media drive.

Additionally, please try another Blu-ray movie without adjusting the audio settings to see if similar issues occur on multiple Blu-ray movies. This will help us narrow the issue down a lot!

Now it's gotten worse. My Xbox One doesn't even recognize that the disc in it. SHEESH!!:-((

Still doesn't answer the question of whether or not an Xbox One or an Xbox 360 can format a disc into ntsf or not.
