Xbox One doesn't play 360 games

    Xbox One doesn't play 360 games


    I'm trying to play Bioshock on my xbox one from an xbox 360 disc, when I insert the disc, nothing happens, I've tried it with Bioshock 2 and still nothing happens, no prompts, nothing.

    Do I have to buy a NEW game for Xbox One or can I use my Xbox 360 discs?

    Uh. Yeah. The Xbox One doesn't even play 360 games. Xbox One games are bluray.

    No, it doesn't work like that. You can only play 360 games with 360 or xbox one back compat, & Xbox One games with Xbox One.

    An Xbox One headset does not work on the 360 as a 360 headset doesn't work on the Xbox One.

    Also it's not recommended to play your 360 through the X1 just because of latency issues. So if you're playing fast paced games like shooters it's not that great.
