Xbox one Doesn't install disc

If you are having an issue installing disc versions of games, downloading disc that repeatedly stop early, and/or not reading games or blue-rays at all (after doing all trouble shooting). You are experiencing a blue-ray/disc reader failure. Xbox one support
will either through phone or chat tell you to:

1. Return your console to the original store purchased from.

2. Send the console in the wait 10-25+ days for them to fix it and send it back to you (which if you are a gamer is completely unacceptable) and you have to buy shipping materials which are about $10.00

or

3. Pay $415.00 wait for them to send a replacement console, which you then have to send back your old console to them within 14 days and when they get it they refund only $400.00

The problem is none of these options are that great they all have downsides either paying or waiting, and most people don't keep receipts for over a week. Worst of all Microsoft tells you there is no forth option but that's a lie!

The best option of all is to take your system in person to a local Microsoft store the techs there are knowledgable, understanding, and work to resolve any and all problems with your faulty Microsoft product.

I personally spent 4 hrs on the phone with Microsofts costumer service and 3 and a half hrs of it was me being on hold and the nothing getting resolved. Then chatted with 4 different Microsoft representatives which also went nowhere. They both gave me 3
options and said the store could not help me and do not do exchanges.

That is a lie, I went to the store and 15 minutes later walked out with a brand new system and a one month free xbox live card.

So I have come to the conclusion that Microsoft costumer service by phone, online chat and community chat are all incompetent and are in serious need of higher intelligence, better manners and consumers importance. I almost attempted to get a refund either
through Microsoft directly or litigation so that I could purchase the inferior Ps4 or Wii U but first I decided to go to the store to tell them off and I was pleasantly surprised from start to finish at how they handled the situation.

If you are having similar issues with your console or are fed up with Microsofts online and phone practices, I hope this helps you and that you share my experiences with others online and friends so that we can make Microsoft better. The Microsoft Store
is the first place to go for all Xbox problems because people, when they can see and understand your problems in person they will work much harder to help you.

The disc is fine!

My Xbox will play every other game I have but this one. I can install the second disc with no problems. Halo 4 disc one is the only game that doesn't work and I would like to know why. Every other game I have installs and works just fine.

 

ME 3 disc doesn't install

So, I downloaded all the ME: 3 add-on dlc, and tried to install ME: 3 and (tried to run from disc) it doesn't even play?! what the ****?!
