Xbox One does not work properly at all

    Xbox One does not work properly at all


    My xbox one is only two years old and the amount of problems I’m having with it is unacceptable. It wouldn’t let me play any game that I updated starting about a month ago. And any time i tried downloading more games it would say “Installation Stopped”.
    Then it wouldn’t detect the external hard drive I have so I couldn’t play any games on that. After resetting the console multiple times it finally detected that a hard drive was plugged in, but it told me that the connection wasn’t good enough and that the
    cord might be tethered. So i bought a whole new usb 3.0 to usb 3.0 cord, and guess what? It still didn’t work. Finally, i was able to format it on a pc and plug it back in to the xbox to reformat it and now it detects it. But it still said installation stopped
    when i tried to redownload my games. It also crashed almost every time I booted it up. I reset the xbox a few more times and got the same issue, but after the last reset, it won’t even connect to the internet anymore, despite every other device in the house
    doing just fine on the wifi. This is unacceptable. I paid money for this console just for it to be basically unplayable. I don’t know what to do to fix it, and I’ve tweeted at xbox support on twitter for weeks and they won’t respond. So someone please help
    me with this or my only choice is to switch to my ps4.

    Connection issues?

    I can log in to some games (Pinball Arcade, for example), but not others including Madden, Dragon Age, and Minecraft. Amazon Prime and ESPN video apps work, but Netflix and Starz does not.

    In addition, all of the sudden my Xbox One Kinect does not work properly.

    Is the medium battery level on the xbox series x wireless controller are normal yes or no?

    I am are using play and charge kit on the xbox series x wireless controller it is are not official one but it is are working on the controller perfectly fine but the indicator does show medium battery level at all times and sometimes it does show fool battery level rather than that it is are working properly in the right way on the series x controller without any issues.

    To reinstall a game you first have to uninstall it. You can do this by going to the 'games & apps' section then by going to 'my games' on the right hand side. From there scroll to Dead Rising 3 and hit the start button and scroll down to uninstall game.

    Now to reinstall. Ii the game is digital: On the right hand side of the 'games&apps' section scroll down to the one called 'ready to install', find Dead Rising 3 and hit install.

    If it is a disc copy: Just pull the disc out and put it back in and it will start installing.

    does not matter these days as most games require a day one patch to actually get them to work properly so in the future if all online services disappear then the game probably won't run.

    I try to stay away from "should be working" during troubleshooting. If everything was working properly, you wouldn't be here chatting with me, right? That said, if you can borrow one easily, try it out and just see what happens. Also, to clarify, are you
    able to host games and play properly, and only have issues joining games, or does it just not work at all?
