XBox One does not start anymore

Hello,

Since the last update of my Xbox, it will not start anymore.

When I switch it on, it makes it usual noise and the button flashes for a moment - and nothing more happens. The light of the power supply changes from orange to white for a moment and to orange back again (when it goes back to orange, the startup-sound
stops for a second - if this does mean anything).

I already tried to reset the power supply and kept the box without power for a few hours with the same result.

Is there anything more I can try or do I have to send it in for repair?

Hey there -

Sorry to hear about the issues. Are you able to try a friend's power brick? Also take a peek at the guide for when your >>Xbox
One console won't turn on<<. If the steps provided in the video don't work, you may need to get a replacement power brick. You can initiate that process via
the >>Online Service Center<<.

Sorry to hear about the power trouble on your Xbox One. To check, have you been able to test a different wall outlet? If that doesn't seem to be the culprit, is there any chance you can test a friend's power supply with your Xbox One?

To add onto what Mr Maka said you can attempt to use recovery mode by pressing the Bind key and the eject key on the console but before that is done you'll need to get the OSUDT for your current version please use the link below for further assistance.

Thanks for all the help!

After another night I replugged the Xbox to try to get out the disc, and however it startet, downloaded and installed the update for the second time and everything is now fine again.

I have no idea what happened, but the problem solved itself

First, try performing a hard reset EXACTLY like this. Hold the power button on the console for 8 seconds or until the power shuts down completely. Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes. Plug the power cord back in and
restart the console.
