Xbox one does not realize that there is a disc in the drive

It sounds as if your console may need servicing. You'll definitely want to get the disc out before sending it for service though. I know that often times when customers can't eject a disc using the manual method it's because they aren't pushing the paperclip
in far enough. Please try the steps here
support.xbox.com/.../manually-eject-disc and keep trying until you get it out before sending it in for service.

You have names mixed up. There are no consoles named the Xbox One Series S or Xbox One Series X.

The Xbox One/One S/One X all have a disc drive.

The Xbox One S All Digital Edition does not have a disc drive.

The Xbox Series X has a disc drive.

The Xbox Series S does not have a disc drive.

All the consoles can play backward compatible games. The Series S and One S all digital edition can only play games digitally downloaded.

The other consoles can play games from disc and from digitally downloaded,

If your Xbox One has a disc Drive (Xbox One S Digital Edition does not), then yes you can insert the disc and install the game and play it on the Xbox One.

Hi Hank! Are they digital or disc games? If disc, does the Xbox One play other DVDs okay? If not, it could be a problem with your disc drive. :/

Apologies for the delayed reply. Are you able to try other Xbox 360 discs to see if a similar issue occurs? Does the Xbox One console recognize that the disc is a Black Ops II disc, or does the Xbox One console not acknowledge that any disc is in while Black
Ops II is in?

I am having the exact issue with my Xbox one. No there is no message nor does it even realize there is a disk in it. It is the only game having the issue. There is no damage to the disk and Xbox is only a month old. Ops 2 still plays in my 360.
