    Dear Microsoft,

Do NOT go with Azure/Streaming backwards compatibility.

Instead, go the more challenging road, and please go software-emulator for Xbox OG, and Xbox 360.

I don't want a paywall, bandwidth issues, I want to be able to play offline, and furthermore I want to retire/donate my Xbox 360 to my younger sister.

From a business view I understand it would be a huge investment, but supporting software backwards compatibility, I think Xbox One would receive mega brownie points and huge support for prior gen adaptors.

    Bling bling Microsoft.

    Thank you,

    Dee

    :)

Do you think XB1 will have a response to Gaikai?

I think Polygon (website) rumored Xbox One being able to do game streaming (for backwards compatibility), but I can't find the link. Still just a rumor though.

Technically Microsoft could do it with the Azure/Cloud, but whether or not they want to is another story. Maybe they have something better in mind for backwards compatibility.

If an "Xbox 360 for Xbox One" app could play ALL Xbox 360 titles, then that would be awesome. I haven't really dug into the specs of the Xbox One to determine if enough processing power is available for an App to run Xbox 360 games; but if that's the case,
then it would be a nice feature. If not, I think streaming emulation is the answer that will afford the largest catalog of back-titles available to the masses of Xbox One owners. I understand that Microsoft has been working on game streaming technologies since
last summer, supposedly even showing a demo of Halo 4 running through the streaming game engine behind closed doors. I don't know how accurate that is, but I can say that I look forward to an announcement on that front in the near future. The world is buzzing
about PlayStation Now, and I hope Microsoft isn't going to wait until E3 to counter what is being considered a clear advantage for the PS4.

Does Mixer support Xbox360 backwards compatibility broadcasting on XB1?

    Yes it does.

I've streamed multiple backwards compatible games using Mixer

This should also work for the original Xbox games that will be backwards compatible end of the year into next

    Xbox One Ever backwards compatible?

PlayStation Now is not backwards compatibility, its a streaming service. Backwards compatibility would be playing your old discs on the new system. MS never said they couldn't stream through the cloud but said it is problematic.

Possible an Idea to play Xbox 360 Games on Xbox One??

No, Xbox One does not have backwards compatibility with Xbox 360 games, but soon this will change. Microsoft will get a streaming service to play all Xbox & Xbox 360 games in the near future.
