    Xbox 360 Internet connectivity Problem

    I am trying to connect my xbox 360 to xbox live. Before I install the new update, the xbox internet works fine. But, after the update my xbox either does not connect to the internet or it says that the xbox 360 will connect to the internet but, xbox live
    won't connect properly or something like that. I can only connect to the internet by using my laptop to share the connection. So does anyone have any idea to fix this? Thanks.

    So um... that definitely seems to me like they just said it doesn't require an internet connection... but it does...

    Looking forward to some more clarification on this, but it's not looking so good...

    This is a BS statement. Seriously, people read here. They lie in their own statements. Not connected all the time yet needs an internet connection to function, WTF. One or the other MS. You can't do both. What effectively is said here is, the system will
    always be connected. End of story.
