    Xbox One DLCs Region Free or Not?


    Hey everyone, I'm getting a Xbox One soon. I wanted to know whether if the Forza 5 DLC codes from US will work on my Singaporean account?

    DLC games - are they region locked?

    Xbox One DLCs are region free whereas Xbox 360 DLCs are region locked.

    Incorrect.Xbox one dlc used to all be region free but people were changing location to get things cheaper so now the majority of digital content is now region locked.

    It is unsure as to whether region locking has been fully implemented on the console or not. However, some people have posted online that they were able to use a download code for games such as Forza 5 and played the game for a while but then they would
    no longer have access to the game and would have to purchase it again in the future.

    If you would like the game I would recommend purchasing it from your region to avoid issues.

    WRONG REGION CODE

    Like what ngocphi mentioned, a disc being region free doesn't means the DLC is as well. One example would be Magna Carta 2 - The DLC is only available for US region.

    Please make xbox 360 region free.

    DLC's region locked = no problem,but Full Game Region Locked = that's the problem.

    If they make xbox 360 region free atleast i can download the Full Game with no problem,as with DLC's i don't usually buy DLC's of any game.
