Xbox one dlc backwards compatibility problem

So recently I've been trying to play Gears of War 3 on my xbox one but my dlc isn't showing up. I have alot of dlc on the Xbox 360 version but nothing's is downloading. If I want the dlc for the Xbox one version it tells me I have to buy it again and I'm
not gonna spend my money on something I already have. Hope you guys can help.

Black ops DLC backwards compatible

I am playing black ops on my xbox one via backwards compatibility. I downloaded call of the dead zombies DLC but it wont work. on the Microsoft website it says DLC is playable via backwards compatibility

Can't say that any of my DLC for Gears is showing up in the game, perhaps it is being added by region?

game mange game then scroll rite the rest of the dlc shod show up not the dlc will not show strat a why proc 1 minit if you still cant see it then donlod the rest of the dlc Manley then the next time you reinstall the dlc and game it shod show up if not pleas

There is a problem that some DLCs are not available on Xbox ONE for Xbox 360 games. I do not understand why backwards compatibility is so why DLC is not available. But it's a few games.

Xbox One: Backward Compatibility page, which details how the program works and which games are currently available. As Daft mentioned, as long as that title is backward compatible, your DLC will work.

If the DLC is for the Xbox One version of the game, then no, you can't use that DLC on the Xbox 360 version of the game.

For example, Assassins Creed IV Black Flag is a Backwards Compatible Xbox 360 game that works on the Xbox One. However, if you buy Xbox One DLC, then this will NOT work on the Xbox 360 version of the game.

But if you get the Xbox 360 DLC content for a Backwards Compatible game, the DLC will work on the emulated Xbox 360 on Xbox One.
