Xbox one displaying green screen and logo only

My xbox one is just displaying the xbox logo on a green screen. I tried to push the sync, eject and power buttons together to do a factory reset. The screen showed up with the continue option being highlited. How can I select the factory reset option from
the screen? Should I use the controller? Which buttons to push in order to highlite the factory reset option or any other options? TIA!

Try performing a hard reset by pressing the power button on the console for 10 seconds or until the power shuts off completely. Then unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes.

Just opened mine up for Christmas and all it displays is the initial green screen with the xbox one logo and name. HELP!

You know the little short video that plays on an xbox one x before the xbox green screen logo? Thats when its static/snowy. Then it shows the normal xbox logo. When trying to use any video streaming app is when all i see is green screen with audio.

I tried what you suggested, it went to 680x680 like you said but it only dispayed the static/snowy screen in lower quality and still experienced the green screen with audio only on netflix and hulu.

During normal start up it will go to the green xbox screen with loading dots on the bottom then it will display a black screen. If the black screen is what your talking about give it a minute for the xbox logo to pop up. The console is loading the dashboard
when you see that screen.

When I turn on the One I get the usual green screen but after that I get a long black screen and the the Xbox logo shows up right in the centre of the black screen. It's almost as if it tries but fails to grab the update. Also, unfortunately, I only have
the one Xbox One ha.
