  1. XBox One Display Problems

Yesterday, my XBox One was working fine. This morning, it started up in 640x480 display mode. It would not recognize the HDMI connection automatically. I was able to change the resolution manually, but when I went to anything other than 640x480, I only
got a black screen with sound when attempting to play a DVD using the Blu-Ray player app. I saw someone else had a similar problem two years ago, but there was never any resolution in that thread. I've tried - manually changing the resolution (works for
the menus but blacked out the blu-ray player), restarting, hard restarting (powering off, unplugging, and plugging it back in after 30 seconds), and changing settings on the TV. None of this resolves the issue.

    :)

Do the complete shutdown or, even though you'll have to re-install everything, reset to factory defaults. Worked for me, hope it does for you!

I've had that happen a couple of times with a few games. Usually just holding in the power button for around 10 seconds until it turns off will fix stuff like that.

If that doesn't work, the only other option might be to uninstall and reinstall it again.

Uninstalling the game didn't do anything for me. But doing the complete shut down did. But this seems to be a recurring problem.
