XBox One **** display problem after console updated (Little Green dots)

My Xbox One X console automatically updated this morning. After the update and restart, I have a video display issue once again happening. I have little green dots all over the screen as you can see here:

I bought this console late 2018, and this same issue suddenly cropped about 6 months later. As it was still under warranty I sent it back for repair, and got it back a week or 2 later, all fixed up, no issues, but nowhere did they tell me what the issue
was or how they fixed it.

The console has been working fine ever since until this morning. The display was normal through the whole updating process, but as soon as it restarted with the new software applied, this issue is back. Does anyone know a way to fix this or do I need to
send the console back yet again?

    :)

XBox One [mod removed] display problem after console updated (Little Green dots)

    Hi RunAmok6,

Thanks for reaching out to the forums. We see you are having issues with the console. We recommend to try a

    soft factory reset
. If this doesn't work we recommend to then send back for another repair. Also, try a different HDMI cable.

    Thanks,

    Brad

XBox One [mod removed] display problem after console updated (Little Green dots)

Hi Brad, thanks for the reply. I plugged it into a different TV and had the same problem, but discovered that pressing and holding in the side of the HDMI connector at the back of the console actually fixed this. I'm a little confused why it coincided
with the software update but hey, it's working now so I'm happy!

    Visual Issues

Green dots appearing are usually a sign of a faulty HDMI connection.

If you reduce the resolution to 720p, less data has to go through the cable, which might cause the cable to "work".

Please try the cable on a different device that displays 1080p, or try a different cable on your console to the TV. Or maybe the cable just jiggled itself out of the plug a little bit.

Just try unplugging and re-plugging the cable, try a different cable and see if that gets rid of the green dots.

    xbox 360 flashing red light

one time only the green lights flashing and then the middle dot remains red

similarly if I start without hdmi or avi cord the green light remains but I cannot see the display

Xbox one powering on to a black screen after logo screen.

During normal start up it will go to the green xbox screen with loading dots on the bottom then it will display a black screen. If the black screen is what your talking about give it a minute for the xbox logo to pop up. The console is loading the dashboard
    when you see that screen.
