Xbox one disk unable to read

If you've already talked with support and they've pointed you in the direction of repair, you'd want to start here:

This isn't possible in general, but specifically in this case Battlefield 3 isn't even available digitally, it's only available on disc. You'd need to buy the game on a disc again if you wish to play it.

Only if you were to purchase a digital copy.

i cant even play offline, still get the "unable to read disk" error...

There have not been any recalls on this. This solely my option, however I think widespread is different than a more common thing that can break on the console. I personally have a few Xbox One consoles for my family all purchased within the first year of
release with no issues. You just simply don't see posts saying, my Xbox is amazing thanks Microsoft! That said it's very unfortunate that yours is having issues, and I for sure understand the frustration, and I did have a couple 360 consoles that gave out.
So as stated earlier your best bet is to pay the repair and get it serviced by Microsoft.
