    xbox one disk drive not working after june update


    after getting the june update the bluray drive in my xbox one gives error code (0x80820002) to all bluray movies and xbox one disks. the only type of disk it will read is dvds, and I have gotten it to play both game disks and bluray movies by running a dvd
    for a few seconds before trying them. is there a fix for this or is it just the drive failing?

    Error Code 4099-40A3-1380-0702-C000-0099

    Problem resolved, put the original disk drive for that xbox in and the update will install, then replace it with the working one xbox one disk drive not working after june update :)

    power cycling didn't work, what seems to of worked is going to disc and bluray in the settings and clearing the persistent storage. it still has problems reading games but reads bluray movies a easier.
