    XBOX ONE Disconnects Then Reconnects With All Controllers


    So this started about 2 months back. I would be playing Dark Souls then out of nowhere my controller would shut off out of nowhere then turn on by itself. I thought it was just my controller so I tried another one. It then disconnects that one then reconnects
    after a short while. After about a week or so it stopped but then happened again two weeks ago and hasn't stopped doing it at random times. I have no idea how to stop this from happening or have no idea what causes this to happen.

    is anyone having issues where the controllers are constantly disconnecting from the xbox one and then won't reconnect? We got this same console and the controllers disconnect every few days and to get them to reconnect we have to unplug the xbox for 20
    seconds then reconnect it. using the connect buttons on the controller/console does nothing for some reason (no issues like this on the regular xbox one we have). very disappointing.

    Thanks Linden for the reply? However Did you read my post? My post relates to the Xbox One Media Remote, not a controller. Although I do also suffer from controller disconnects of which I have detailed here.

    Why does everyone just keep referring us to the controller troubleshooting page. Everyone has tried all those steps!!!! Anyway back to the problem. The remote is not accurate enough or act the same way as any other remote.
