    Xbox one X disconnects from network every time i turn the console off

    I've been having a problem that every time i turn my xbox one x off it disconnects from my wireless network and when i turn it back on my xbox can't find any network to connect too. The problem is fixed if i disconnect the power cable from the console and
    have it power completely off, but then i am still forced to search for my wireless network and reconnect manually to it

    Hey there GroggyElf9,

    Sorry to hear about the network performance. Let's check a few things to narrow this down. Does the issue persist when using both wired or wireless network connections on the console?



    Run a Detailed Network Statistics test on the Xbox One console and please provide the following information.

    • Download Speed
    • Upload Speed
    • Latency
    • Packet Loss %
    • Wireless Strength (if applicable)
    • Modem Manufacturer
    • Router Manufacturer (if being used) as well as the model number
    • NAT Type

    That information will help us determine the next best steps. Thanks!

    Hi Jr,

    I would recommend trying a
    wireless connection     on the console instead of an ethernet cable. It could be an issue with the ports on the console itself.

    Also, here is a link that has to do with the console disconnecting from the network:

    1. select Set up wireless network
    2. select the appropriate router from the list of devices
    3. enter the password
    4. connect to the network.
    Try this out and let us know the results.
