Xbox one disconnects and reconnects within seconds

This has been a problem for a few days now. My xbox will disconnect from xbox live and then moments later it will reconnect like nothing happened. This will sometimes occur several times in the span of a few minutes and then will stay connected all night
with no problem.

It happened again tonight but this time it brought up code teredo, which claimed that my NAT settings were messing up. That doesnt really make sense because i have changed literally nothing since I set up my internet and xbox over a year ago.

None of the fixes i can find apply to my problem because most require the problem to be persistent but it literally only lasts long enough to completely disconnect me from a multiplayer game and will sometimes go as far as signing me out of xbox live.

I keep getting disconnected from xbox live every 5 to 10 minutes and then I get reconnected within a couple of seconds, how do I stop this?

 

Xbox One Day One controller issues

Hello, The chrome D-Pad on my Xbox One Day One controller does not work when I push it to the right. Also, my controller randomly disconnects in the middle a game then reconnects within a few seconds. Thanks for the Help.

Again the problem is not persistent, so any test that i run claims everything is fine. If there was a test that showed recent failures that would be great that way i could research the problem. But as i stated It constantly believes that there are no problem
until i get disconnected and then if I go to check it says everything is fine.

Update:

This only seems to happen when playing multiplayer. Party chat also seems to have problems. Both of these problems are connected to the Teredo error code but i dont have a teredo setting on my gateway so i cant manually check it.

 

Try deleting the alternate mac address to see if that works out!!

 

solutions ive tried:

alt mac addr reset

reboot modem

reboot Xbox

reset upnp settings

manually set the mac address

port forward ( w/o upnp on)

rebooted each Ethernet port

changed Ethernet cords

i might have tried more but at this point I've done so much i might have forgotten anything else ive tried short of increasing the air flow of my Xbox with bullet sized holes.

Thank you for reaching out. I see you have done a far share of troubleshooting already; does it continue to disconnect while using a wireless connection by any chance? If so, since this is a fairly recent issue, let's make sure it's not software related
by performing a
factory reset on the console while keeping your games and apps.

1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
2. Select Settings.
3. Select All Settings.
4. Select System.
5. Select Console info & updates.
6. Select Reset console

 

I will give that a try and get back to you if the problem changes

Update: Connecting via wireless and factory reset did not fix my problem

Also i have not had any problems streaming to other devices such as my 2 smart tvs, pc, switch, or phones.

The problem only occurs during a multiplayer game or in party chat. I wasnt even playing a game but was in party chat and my xbox kicked me off.

Our suggestion as it has not been supplied, here is our Random Disconnect Solution which has a wizard dedicated
to the exact issue being experienced.

Try following this and let us know if this allowed a resolution for the issue.

I have followed this already and it just says there is a problem with my ISP. However i have contacted my ISP and they assured me its not on their end.

Also a friend of mine started experiencing the same problem but not as often as I am.
