Xbox one disconnecting and freezing

After scrolling through 6 pages of questions I have not found my issue so here it is. While playing, normally COD or few other games, my controller will stop working. The light is lit as if its on however no buttons will function. I can't shut down or anything.
I have to turn the console off with its power button for it to even turn off and then the controller shuts off but it will still be unresponsive. It fixes itself sometimes faster then others. Is this a console issue or controller issue? I am leaning on the
console side as I have 2 different controllers that will do the same thing. Both are up to date on software. Before I send in the console to be checked out wanted to see if anyone had advice. Thanks

My regular 360 was freezing, so i bought a brand new 360 from bestbuy, the 320gb matte cover with built in wifi, and its still freezing...

Mhmm I have tried it offline And I've been disconnecting Jorge my xbox before cloud was available, it was even freezing before I moved

The browser has absolutely nothing to do with it.

Since you're using wireless, you could try to use some filters to protect the signal from phone signals etc. Also, make sure your connection settings are set up properly using that sticky linked in Foom's reply.

 

Happens to me when playing AC Unity. Xbox freezes and only way to unfreeze is doing a power cycle. This is a recurring problem since November update
