    Xbox one disc won't eject


    Just ejected my ac4 disc and put cod aw in- nothing happened so i hit eject to try it again since I have to take out and put my game back in several times now to work and I made a little noise, not the normal eject noise and my disc won't come out. I've
    ALREADY TRIED the hard reset, several times and the manual one. The paper clip doesn't seem to be doing anything, even when "angled towards the front"- it just reaches a certain point and that it. Is there something I'm doing wrong with it?

    Disc won't eject?

    Hey there!

    Sorry to hear that you're running into trouble with your console. It sounds like from what you're describing that your Xbox 360 is malfunctioning. (If you're on Xbox One, the results are the same though.) The console will need a repair and you can find more
    info about that for the Xbox One

    Xbox one disc won't eject

    Mine wouldn't ether. Destiny froze, so I restarted it got 2 banjos so I tried to eject the disc and nothing happened. I shut it off, tried again, pulled the plug and tried again nothing works, what the hell?

    Got the manual release to work, now I will try to see if it was a one off (hopefully)

    Well Diablo 3 seems to work and eject fine. Ill try Destiny again tomorrow. Also I was kind of a pain finding the manual release and getting a paperclip far enough in to eject the disc just FWI.

    @BlindLine153 with the paperclip did yours like, hit what seemed to be a lever then slip past it? Cause with mine I reached a point and applied a bit of pressure and my clip slipped past what I can only describe as feeling like a lever thing. I freaked out
    and stopped cuz it felt like I was already a good 1 1/2-2 inches in already. I'm scared of messing it up lol

    yeah think so had to push a bit, the bit in the service page said you need a big paper clip cause you had to put it in several inches I had to wiggle it around for a while before it went all the way in then I pushed and the disc popped out.

    I know the issue already was resolved, but for future reference and others experiencing the same issue.

    console won't eject or recognize disc anymore

    If the disc won't eject, you can try to force eject it: https://support.xbox.com/help/hardware-network/console/manually-eject-disc.

    On all Xbox One consoles, the hole will be found on the left wall of the console, around the corner from the disc slot. On the original Xbox One, the hole is in plain view, but below the grill on the left side.
