Xbox one disc, trying to download digitally

My girlfriend purchased a copy of battlefield V for me, the problem is my disc tray no longee works ive already removed the game from its plastic. I was wondering if there is any way i could find a code to download it digitally.

Would that mean id have to buy the game again ? Or could i take it back to the oringal store and recieve a code ?

You would have to purchase it from the Xbox store (or see if a retailer sells a code) in order to download it digitally.

That will depend on the policies that the store has for returns and warranty, I would recommend following the suggestions I shared on my previous reply

Sorry to hear you are running into these problems with the physical copy. Have you attempted to troubleshoot the problem? If you have not go ahead and take a look at "How
to troubleshoot problems playing a disc on your Xbox One" for some helpful steps.

Unfortunately we are unable to provide a digital code to replace the physical copy. If the disc reader does not work then setting up a repair through the

Device Support Website, or
Purchasing the Digital Copy would be our only options after that.

No, the purchase that you made is for the physical copy of the game, I'm sorry but you'll have to either send your console for a service and repair or buy the game digitally.
