Xbox one disc read issues and really getting fed up

I have 2 day one xbox ones and several games plus duplicates... my xbox is having the issue of not reading xbox game disc and spoke to xbox support and i am being told after i have spent all this money they want me to spend an extra 135 dollars to fix an
issue that is spread world wide in many consoles... i am just about ready to get rid of my xbox ones and switch to a ps4... that is over 1800 dollars i have spent one these 2 units and games plus the extra that i was wanting to spend on future games... plus
it seems every week the friends list and party chat is down, so social gaming is out of the question... i am just getting really fed up and being sold items that are not worth the money i paid for them... by the way i also went thru 6 org 360s till the slim
came out and then yall finally got it right... all i want is for my faulty unit to be fixed with out costing me extra money considering all the money i have already spent... has anyone else had this type of trouble out of the service group too... im looking
for insight before it really makes me mad and MS loose me and my wifes business.

Another live connection problem with no internet issues

Getting really fed up with these Xbox issues. Having the same problems on my end.

Still not a word from xbox... and yet more xbox live issues... this is freaking ridiculous... xbox get it to gether or i am out for good... you know playstion hasnt had this many problems... im still waiting to hear from you guys about this disc read issues...

I'm with ya. I contacted them a week and a half past the warranty window. They told me the same thing, essentially to pound sand.

And they weren't even polite about it. Rather frank really. No reach around on this system from M-soft.

 

Same problem here and it's really infuriating. I sure do love paying this much more for something that won't even do its main job. They need to start doing one for one swaps for people that are having this issue because it's there fault not ours and like
you said hundreds of people are having this problem. But why help out your loyal customers when you can stiff them for another 135 dollars right. Complete ***.

 

I don't use my xbox one much and ever since the November update I have had a problem havering to load and unload the disc multiple times to get it to work now when I put it in doesn't even spin and told me $135 and me pay shipping when I already shipped
it out once before when it had the grinding issue and destroy a brand new game I didn't even play once yet with no resolution about that $60 and I know it's a common problem cause hense this thread and they still won't admit it's a fault on their part Microsoft
already costed me $135 in the first year UNDER WARRANTY and now they want me to spend another $150 cause I'm out of warranty i really have been a loyal xbox fan but now I'm stuck with a basically brick system unless I spend the money the really got us all
by the marbles

 

I have had this problem also and got so fed up with it I tilted the front of my xbox and it loaded. And I found out every time I tilted the xbox up from the front it would load the discs. Works for me and hope it helps....stupid solution I know

 

Had disc issues after 3rd Month of getting Xbox One (Launch day). Had to get it fixed. Had a big history with discs not reading so now gone digital. More expensive but at least don't have troubles anymore. Nothing will be done. This problem will always occur.
They will do nothing.

Yes, have your console repaired for $135 (discounted to $115 online) after paying $500 dollars and much for for games and marketplace content...way to screw your customers xbox.

 

Yes i have done all those steps... couple times actually, the point is there are so many people having this issue. It should be covered at your expense not ours... we all have already forked out over 500 dollars just for the console not including all the
games... this is either faulty equipment or during the last update yall messed up the coding for the drive... I am not asking for much... just stand by your product fix all the know issues. The disc read is by far the most error that people are having issues
with... second is yalls servers for live have taken a big hit cause yall cant seem to keep them up for more then 2 weeks at a time... i am about to write a letter or email to the ceo or president of Microsoft/xbox about this crap... i will not repeat what
i went through on the 360...

 

Mine reads movie and music discs just fine,but when I go to load a game....nada..just a messed up noise. XBOX SHUT DOWN!!!YOU [Mod Removed] RIPOFF ARTISTS!!
