    Xbox one disc not working


    When I put my call of duty World War II disc in it says do you on this game or app but I tried many times it just won’t work and there’s no scratches on the disc Or anything but every time I put in the consol it won’t work

    Hi

    If this is only affecting one disk then I would try to use the disc on a friends console to eliminate this as a possible cause of your problem after this I would try using another game disc / blu ray disc in your console to see if the same issue still occurs.

    After this can you please try following the support guide below.

    I've had this and found that if you start to insert the disc and when you feel the drive start to pull the disc in you hold it firmly so the disc doesn't go in straight away. Then after about a second either let the disc go or push it slightly into the
    drive - this seems to force the disc into place and the game starts. I understand this is pretty typical on Xbox drives. Be careful though you could do more damage,

    Hi,

    Do other BC Xbox 360 game discs work on your Xbox One? For the Xbox One to recognise the game and download it from Live it must:

    • Be able to read the disc. Check if the disc is dirty or damaged
    • Have a working Optical drive capable of reading Xbox 360 discs. Try other BC discs or test a DVD movie.

    The Xbox One has two diodes for reading discs in the optical Blu-ray Drive. A red laser is used to read Xbox 360 and DVD movies and a blue laser to read Xbox One games and Blu-ray movies. If the diode for reading DVD's is faulty, BC Xbox 360 discs won't
    work.

    The compatibility for discs and games only works backwards, not forwards. Xbox One discs can be played on the Xbox One, Xbox 360 discs (being the older console) can be played on the Xbox One and the Xbox 360, Xbox discs (being the oldest console) can be
    played on all three consoles. The Xbox One is currently the newest console that is out, and therefore, its games only works on its system.

    Past that, you'll have to get the right disc to play on the Xbox 360... it should say Xbox 360 on the case and the disc for the game.

    Only Xbox 360 games and regular DVDs, BluRay disc and Xbox One discs work perfectly!
