  1. Xbox One disc not being recognized

    Hello all,

My disc refuses to load, also refuses to eject. I've tried power cycling over and over again, and it still does not work. In addition I've tried navigating the apps page to see if I could force load anything. I also tried loading games I downloaded, and
then trying to disc. Still nothing. Please advise.

    Thanks,

    Claude

    :)

Does the free Rare Replay acknowledge your saves if you own the disc?

I own the disc of Rare Replay and seeing how the digital version is being given away for free, I was wondering if my Xbox One S will recognize the disc save file so I can then trade or sell my physical copy.

Xbox one console not reading discs

So I picked up a console for 10 bucks it was missing some pieces so I replace what it needed and booted it up. It would not read discs, I dont see a spinning gear or anything showing that it recognizes that there is a disc in it. So I bought a new laser and tray and replaced it. Same thing, it will spin for about 3 seconds and stop. Xbox never recognizes the disc. I reset the xbox, tried it, updated it, tried it.. nothing.

Sadly, whats going on with your console is that the console disc drive (or optical disc drive) has gone defective, and you need to set up a repair for the console. You can see this up 1 of 2 ways

    1) Call 1-800-4MY-Xbox and set up the repair with a representative

    2) Go to myservice.xbox.com and set up a repair yourself.

Mass effect 3 'not currently available' with disc on backwards compatibility

    Hey there, BL0ND1E 123!

I'm sorry to see any issues with installing Mass Effect 3! When you put disc 1 into your console to install the game, does it recognize the game at all on the Home screen? This game is one of those that is only available via disc for back compat unless it's
    accessed through EA Access Vault.

The disc reader on the Xbox One is a bit more sensitive than the Xbox 360. Anything minor on the disc could affect how it's reading the disc. If you have another Xbox One console to test the disc out, this will help us determine if it's the console or the
    disc that's being finicky.

Let me know if the disc is being recognized, and if you have access to another Xbox One console to test the disc on. :) I look forward to working with you!
