Xbox One disc installation stops @ 4% says to free up space

So I have an Xbox One that has 215 GB free space, we are trying to install the MCC and I realize that this takes up approx 65 GB with an additional 20 GB update, however when we install the disc it staops at 4% and says we need to free up space. There is
plenty of space to install this 215 GB. Has anyone run into this issue? we really do not want to install the other games that are on there mainly because they took so long to install (already did 2 that we do not play anymore) and I would hate to do that
only to find out it didn't help.

We already tried installing while not connected to the internet so that it doesn't try to do the update at the same time, this is an entirely different issue.

Fallout 4 Installation Problem

My Fallout 4 installation is glitchy. When I put the disc in it installs up to 1% then says queued really fast then says installing and then the installation stops. Why is it doing like this? I've tried installing it offline and online but neither works.
If I factory reset my Xbox One will the disc work properly? Also, there are no scratches on the disc at all.

Please help me.

 

Installing Games

If your Installation stops check your notifications..

Do you have enough free Space?

Set up where it should install by Default..

what is you energy Setting? should be instant on.. that it will download while console is off..

also check the device-power Settings, there is a Option to automatically turn off the HD...

try out which Setting works for you...

If games are disc based you^ll Need them for install.. for checking licence...

If it is Disc based game

Have you really uninstalled the game and then re-Installed?

 

HMCC is a 40 - 50GB disc with a 15GB download, try and fully power down the xbox one, unplug and reverse, then disconnects from the net and install, but it would be better to install the patch at the same time, this all depends on the speeds of net access
where you are, I had mine installed including the patch within 40minutes, but with the servers just being sorted and under heavy use it may take longer.

 

I tired all of that already and it still stops at 4% and says free space. I actually have 260 gb prior to MCC trying to install 215 after

 

Do you have more than one Hard drive connected? I.e external HDD? If so, check that you are installing to the right HDD that has free disc space.

You could try and delete the installation process that you have so far (if it has any) and power cycle the xbox and try again. (holding the Xbox Logo button on the console down for 5 seconds until it is powered down and the Power Adapter glows orange instead
of whiteish)

 

Also check that the system doesn't have alot of games ready to be installed on the far right side of the Games section under My Games and Apps. Sometimes it reserves space to faster install deleted games back.

 

I had this problem, I stopped the install then uninstalled. Restarted it all over and it went smooth after that. I hope you get it sorted out because Halo MCC is awsome. Plus the Halo guardians beta is today and it's 10.6 GB.
