Xbox One Disc Error regarding disc dirty there is an fix

Hi all There is an Problem with the new beta software which is every time you playing a game on disc and you finish playing it and you put an new game it comes up with error message disc dirty try an new one.

There is an fix for it but not a long term fix but it works

1: pull out the power cord wait 30 secs and restart your console you know if the disc drive is responding when you hear it boot up

Hi,

I hve a problem with Witcher 3 disc. I have received error: "Check your disc. Your disc might be dirty or damaged. Error code: 0x80820003 - 0x45. I have only one disc with game but other Blu-ray movie discs od dirty CD works fine. After hard reset and unlugging
power i can play. What is wrong with my console? Is this software error or hardware?

 

XB1 wont read discs ... hardware or software problem ?

If you signed up to the preview progam its the last update they gave us that has caused this. There are alot of posts regarding this over there on the forums but still no fix as of yet.

I can play a game fine when i first switch the xbox on but if i press eject it sucks the disc back in and when you eject again and try another disc i get the dirty disc error and the only way to get it back to playing games is a hard reset. Is this whats
happening with you?

As fair as I'm aware, this is an error connected specifically with the current beta tests. Presumably you are signed up for this. Therefore please use the beta forums to report and discuss these issues.

There should be a link over on the right of the forum menus for you to get there quickly.

I'd also just politely remind you that part of the Beta programme is a NDA that all participants accepted, and so any information relating to the beta should not be posted to the public forums

But for the rest you are correct. Anything Beta related should be posted in the Beta Section. It´s easier for Supporters to Keep Track of Beta and Non-Beta issues. Just like i said above.

 

The technicians do not answer in the beta section of the forum...

This error is very serious and it is still not fixed.

 

Give them some time. I bet they are investigating and working on a fix. And they cant answer every thread in the Beta Section, there are way too many and too many of the same.

Its a Beta and things like this can happen. If you don't want to help test future updates run the registration App again and choose unregister.

Ah, thanks for the info. I thought it was covered by the NDA from the original March party beta
