Xbox one Disc Drive Not Working Properly

my xbox one disc drive is not working properly .. its kind of responding late suppose if i click the button it opens 5-10 mints later

can anybody give me a solution on this

Fixing the disc drive reader?

My xbox has not been reading any discs, so I can't play games or watch movies. I took apart the Xbox to move the reader forward because it was stuck. It worked for a day, but now it is back to not working properly. Should I buy a new reader or replace the box with the disc drive in it?

Never had issues with the disc drive. Does it happen all the time.

Try making sure that your console is updated, Also make sure that isn't standing vertically or tilted. If these don't work then you might want to contact support via chat or phone to see what they can do for you

 

When I first bought my XBox 1, I went through 3 systems. The first one stopped loading and wouldn't turn on. The second one wouldn't connect to the controller, and the third one wouldn't load any games. I still stuck with you guys. A year and a half
with my 4th console, and it stopped reading discs. I paid you guys $115 to get a replacement. Now a year later and my 5th console has stopped reading discs. So now I'm stuck paying you guys another $115 for a replacement. This is the worst console I've
ever owned, I have been consistently disappointed with everything you guys have done for me. I have been gaming for over 30 years so I know how to take care of my systems, but I can't prevent faulty manufacturing. I'm writing this hoping that you guys will
take some responsibility and help out a loyal fan who has stuck with you since the original XBox, but knowing how you guys have been in the past, I won't hold my breath.

I really am writing this to let you know that after this is fixed, if you guys can do nothing for me, I will not be purchasing another XBox related system. Thanks for your time...

 

are you using disc that have stickers on the top of them? that at times can cause the drive to be delayed. Also updating the console may solve this issue, it sounds like the drive eject system may be going bad. Also if you are having trouble getting a
disc out, there is a side port on the left side of the console that can help get out the disc in question. If that is still giving you issues, you may have to contact support to get assistance.

Sorry to hear you've had so many issues with your consoles. Does it not read any discs or all discs? Have you done the hard reset / factory restore on them to make sure it wasn't software related? Unfortunately warranty periods are pretty firm, and unless
you get the extended warranty from the retailer or complete care from Xbox, then you're limited to the factory warranty. Understand that's not the news you're
wanting to hear. I can say that your experience is not common at all, and speaking from experience most consoles are pretty rock solid.

i think it may be a sensor issue , have been seeing this kind of things on the net .. the eject button and the power button both are not working properly , and its saying its updated only so dont think it can be an software issue
